Tlierp is a good Alpine inn there run by the Innsbruck Cor poration, with a restaurant, bedrooms and a terrace with a tine view. From Seegrube there is a wonderful view of Innsbruck itself, of the large valley of the Inn and the lower mountain ranges which to the south are as high as the central group of the Alps themselves. One can go up towards the west arm of the Seegrube reaching in a few minutes a corner from which there is a wonder ful view of the steep mountains of the Solstein Bange

Ihe air over this rockshewn amphitheatre with shere walls higher than a church steeple, takes only four minutes. The mountain station is built in an original style and lies 7444 ft. high on a little ridge ten minutes west of the Hafelekar Peak its crowning glory (7702 ft.). The view from the top of Hafelekar is astounding and wonder ful. Far away down below lies the rich Inn valley with the silver streak of its river above which one has been horsted 6600 ft.
