of the Landgrave Hermann; thè two latter in favorir of Leopold. After a long contest, Henry of Ofterdingen was dedared vantpiished, bnt, at the Landgravine’s entreatv, the famons master of song, Klingsohr, of Hwngary, was sent for, and allowcd to take his place. The main battle was thenceforward hetween the new , corner and Wolfram of Eschenbacli, who was finally overcome by the Hnngarian, bnt more, Wolfram con- tinued to maintain, by the necromancy than by the genuine song-power of his antagonist
