The principal routes from London and Paris are (a) via Bale - Zurich - Innsbruck - Brennero (b) via Simplon or St. Gotthard - Milan - Verona - Trento. following day by either of these routes. AS A TOURIST CENTRE Bolzano (870 ft.), now united with the health- resort Gries, is the capital of the homonymous province and the chief centre in the Dolomite region for ex cursions by rail and road.
